Pelosi, Obama, Reid, just don’t get it
So now the battle lines are drawn. Pelosi, Reid, Obama have said come hell or high water, they don’t care, health care bill WILL be passed. No matter what. No matter who it hurts. No matter if the people don’t want it.
They just keep saying that if people understood it, they would want it.
That’s just crazy and being tone deaf to the American voters. But have no fear, this will be a bloody fight.
Pelosi will twist arms, shout, scream, and perhaps, maybe, get enough votes. But that’s not a lock. A lot has changed since last year’s vote.
Let’s not forget the Scott Brown effect. Brown was elected running against the health care bill. Many Dems have got to look at that.
The approval rating of Congress is about 13%. Do they want to commit suicide?
Here’s the thing. Republicans have got to keep the backbone and follow the people. Vote no on the health care bill. Dems don’t seem to care, even saying they’ll lose an election to pass the bill.
To that we say, good! Because when Republicans take over, the bill will be repealed.
If Pelosi and her cronies were able to strong arm this bill through, they would do it now. There would be no reason to have an open air useless forum with Obama and Reps. Why bother? Just get it through!
But they do not have the votes at this time. We have time on our side! The more time lapses, the more chance the bill will die.
