Obama has no logic
Today the farcical health care summit takes place.
Obama starts out by saying politics trumped logic on the health care debate.
Wrong, Mr. President. Logic trumped the politics of health care. The people trumped it. The voters trumped it. Putting lipstick on this pig is still using a pig.
How we wish the Republicans had a backbone. Obama is not the emperor. He’s not a demi-god. And yet, Republicans wilt at his feet. Why?
Case in point, John McCain. Obama stops him during this summit and says not to just give talking points because the campaign is over. McCain didn’t have much to say.
But wait! Yeah, Mr. Obama! The campaign is over. It’s over in Virgina. It’s over in New Jersey. it’s over in Massachusetts. How’d that work out for you Mr. President?
And come November, the campaigns will be over for Reid. Let’s hope it’s over for Pelosi as well. Then let’s see what more Obama has to say about the campaign.
